Local Artist Exhibits Works at USA Bank
Port Chester, NY (PRWEB) April 17, 2009 -- When the phones ring at USA Bank callers not only hear a friendly and helpful voice, they also speak to a local artist of distinction.
Janice Cianflone, one of the bank's receptionists, is currently displaying more than a dozen paintings and drawings at the bank's Port Chester branch located at 601 North Main Street. They are mostly contemporary landscapes of Westchester County.
"They have quiet scenes that evoke restful and peaceful feelings," Cianflone said.
In addition to her day job, the resident of West Harrison also teaches drawing & water color painting at Westchester Community College, provides private art lessons and is a member of the Greenwich Arts Society.
"Janice's art is a welcome addition to the atmosphere here at the bank," said Ronald J. Gentile, President & CEO. "Our customers and employees are really enjoying it."
The Cianflone mini-exhibit will be on display throughout the spring months.
